From The Kindaichi Case Files Wiki

Hi! The fact that you're here means you're at least somewhat interested in helping out, so thank you! I have a huge amount of respect for everyone who has contributed to the Kindaichi Case Files Wikia/Fandom wiki, but I really like independent, non-Wikia wikis, so I figured it would be a fun project to try to build my own Kindaichi wiki from the ground up, without any of the gunk that builds up from having a wiki around for a long time.

My aims for this wiki are:

  • No broken links. If a page doesn't exist yet, don't link to it until it does.
  • No 1 sentence long pages. If you're going to create a page, make sure it's fully complete! It doesn't have to be super super long, but make sure that people who end up on that page will be satisfied.

That's it for now! If you want to help it, I would be so so grateful! I know it's pretty daunting, seeing as there's lots of stuff missing here, but I'm working as hard as can to bulk things out quickly! If you'd like to help with that process, the best thing right now is to create more case pages! I'm still working my way through watching the Kindaichi series, so I'm only able to create case pages about cases I've watched. So if there's a case you've seen or watched but doesn't have a page on this wiki, then feel free to create it! There's a very consistent style across all of the case pages, so be sure to match it to how the other pages look!

We've got a style guide here, which you can use to make sure any content you write for the wiki matches what's already up: Kindaichi:Manual of Style

If you've got any other questions, I'm available on Twitter @thomasgdocs, so feel free to drop me a message if you want my help!

Thanks, Thomas :)
